No incitement to riot. Change my mind.

Here's the text of his speech on 01/06:

He's tediously repetitious. Most of it is stupid and dishonest. I can't imagine standing in the cold to hear that kind of drivel. But none of it was an incitement to riot.

"We will never give up. We will never concede."
Standard political speech. Democrats said same thing in 2016.

"We will not take it anymore,"
Standard political speech employed in every election.

"We will not let them silence your voices. We're not going to let it happen."
Standard political speech.

"And after this, we're going to walk down and I'll be there with you. We're going to walk down--

We're going to walk down. Anyone you want, but I think right here, we're going to walk down to the Capitol--"
Sounds like a peaceful march.

"I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard."
Pretty clear what he said.

"we fight, we fight like hell, and if you don't fight like hell you're not going to have a country anymore."
Standard political speech.

Nothing there. Nothing in any of the tweets. Trump didn't incite a riot. To believe that he did, one must reject the 1st Amendment, the meaning of words, and the legality of all political speech promising to vigorously oppose the other party.
