Trump is doing far more than legally challenging vote counts. He's engaging in scorched Earth tactics to undermine democracy itself. His goal is obvious: consolidate support, and weaken the institution itself.
Eh, I'm not that worried about it. Literally nobody that I know who voted for Trump is going to follow Trump down this road. I realize that there are ignorant, crackpot extremists on both sides of the political aisle that are down for about anything regardless of the ramifications but that doesn't represent a large enough component of the population to achieve the kind of outcome you're prognosticating.
Fair point. I know a few Trump supporters who are all in on overturning the election. It may have tainted my perception. But I find Graham and Jordan to be troubling. Trump's behavior is unprecedented. Why have so few Republicans stood up to his nonsense? He's literally lying without repudiation from his own party?

It would be about the same as me claiming that antifa was two steps away from undermining the republic. Yes, they have a dangerous mindset, but there aren't enough of them (at least not yet) to do any real damage.
At the moment they're adversely affecting the handover of power and are letting a pandemic run wild why simultaneously doing nothing to help the economy. They've chosen to attack democracy itself. This will cost lives. Not yours, and probably not mine, but I would consider that to be real damage.

While you are complaining about OANN (which I don't watch), I'm guessing you're imbibing fully on the left-aisle equivalent given the hysterical tone I'm reading into your comments.
No, I'm not a huge fan of populists on either side of the aisle. I'm a moderate. Neither party can provide the leadership our country needs without working together. I'm not a fan of power grabs from either side. I opposed Sanders as I oppose Trump.
